7/27/10   Bill Pascual had jumped out to the lead battling with Tommy Vigh in the 15 lap pro stock feature event. Bill held the lead until on Don Carlson swept up underneath him in the final laps of the event. Pascual ran a clean feature event and took home a second place run. In the first ever 10 car pro stock elimination race, Bill had been slated to compete in his points position third and had one of the closest battles with Rob Yetman and didn't make it to beat Yetman. Bill has moved up the points lead close in the top three running in points. Pascual will be back Wednesday night for a mid week race. See you then!!

Double features could either be a bad thing or a good thing but Bill Pascual showed off his talent and scored a win in the regular feature and a top 5 in the heldover. The win sits Bill 2nd on the all time win list with 54 wins at the hard clay. In the holdover bill was a half a track behind competitors and faught his way up to 5th. The second feature Billy checked out and brought home the win to the team. This weekend the team returns back to action at OCFS!

Billy Pascual rolled into the track grounds around 2 pm this Saturday with one thing on his mind, a win! With a slightly low car count handicapping heats were cancelled and only a 15 lap feature would be ran. Billy started in the front half of the pack and quickly got out to the front of the field. Bill grabbed the lead from ron Nuzzaro and had a hold of it until Bill got up rooted from his spot and fell back to second. Don Carlson then came in quickly and got into a heavy race with Pascual and Pascual fell back to the third as he pushed a little to hard. Billy came across the line in third and still is looking for that first win which is so close he can taste it. Beware pro stock teams as Pascual Racing is out for blood to get that first win of the 2010 season!!

5/8/10

Saturday night Pascual Racing rolled into the pits right at 3pm. Billy was gearing up for yet another exciting night of Pro Stock action. During hotlaps team Pascual had a little fender bender in turn 1 but they were ready to go into the feature. Billy started towards the end of the pack but was up front in no time. Billy got a flat left rear but held on to finsih 3rd place. On Sunday afternoon Pascual racing won their heat event and ran up front the whole race. Some bumping and banging cause Pascual to finsih 5th but overall Pascual sits 2nd in points and is ready to reclaim the track championship in which they defend. They will be back in action come this Saturday night! See you there!

Saturday night April 17th 2010 marked opening night for team Pascual. Bill was handicapped to the rear of the field but easily used the outside lane to his advantage. Bill quickly passed part of the field and battled with Don Carlson. Bill finished second in the qualifying heat.

Come feature event time Bill and Carlson went hand and hand ahead of the field. Bill had an average speed of 25 seconds which was better than some sportsman and modifieds. In the end Bill finished 2nd and is ready for a win this coming saturday. This coming week bill will return to the speedway in hunting for the 2010 seasons championship!

Barnes Captures Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series Holiday Show At RWR

Elbridge, NY – July 3, 2008 – By Joe Johnson, DIRTcar Racing NorthEast Series Correspondent

Tour traveler Don Barnes from Gasport, New York captured his first career Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Championship Series win at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park on Thursday evening. The race was the second in the 2008 Series.

Former Pro Stock Series champion Joey Ladouceur and Dick Parkhurst brought the 26-car field down to starter Matt Burdick’s green flag with Parkhurst grabbing the early lead. Afternoon showers left the track heavy and rough which would make passing difficult.

Ladouceur soon found out that the infield was still quite wet when Parkhurst crowded him on the front stretch as the pair battled for the lead. Ladouceur spun and collected a couple of cars and Parkhurst was sent to the rear of the field.

On the ensuing restart, Barnes inherited the lead with Billy Woodward Jr., Roch Aubin, Don Carlson and Bill Pascual rounding out the front-five. Barnes moved out to a good advantage while Carlson charged into second in his number 26. The Lebanon Valley regular soon began to put pressure on Barnes for the top spot but Steve Johnston brought out the second yellow flag of the race with a spin in turn four. Series points leader Louie Jackson ---by virtue of his opening day win at Can-Am--- headed pitside during the caution period and did not return, the victim of mechanical problems.

When racing resumed Barnes led Carlson, Woodward, Aubin and Pascual but quickly charging from the back was the 92.1 of Ladouceur as he moved back into ninth by lap four, then by lap seven was into sixth. Defending Mr. DIRTcar Champion Pete Stefanski was also on the move after problems in his heat forced him to start at the back and a quick trip to the pits put him back there yet again during the race.

The top two began to pull away with Carlson all over the Barnes’ no. 28 machine but was unable to find a way by. Fonda Speedway regular Dean Charbonneau brought out the yellow on lap nine after contact with Woodward in the 49. Charbonneau tried to keep going to negate the yellow but got stuck in the mud, and the no. 49 car was subsequently put to the rear of the field where he was none too happy.

On the restart Pascual made a move for third while Ladouceur sped into fifth with the no. 2 of Stefanski not far behind. Hogansburg’s Ricky Thompson brought out the yellow on lap 11 after spinning and making contact with the inside wall in turn four and his no. 37 mountwas towed to the infield, done for the evening.

Ladouceur continued his charge to the front on the restart moving into fourth, while Stefanski jumped into seventh at the same instance. The top-three ran right together for several laps until Woodward spun the 49 on the outside of turn two on lap 17.

Following the restart, a wild battle ensued between the 92.1 of Ladouceur, Stefanski in the 2 and the 73 of PJ Peters, with the three Pro Stock veterans trading fourth, fifth and sixth several times a lap. Eventually Stefanski prevailed and set sail after Pascual for third. He reached Pascual on lap 23 and hit him hard in turn three to get the spot.

Charbonneau brought out one more yellow on lap 24 setting up a one lap dash to the finish. Barnes held off Carlson for the win with Stefanski, Pascual and Peters rounding out the top-five. Ladouceur settled for sixth but put on a great show.

May 24, 2008: Bill Pascual won his second 15-lap Pro Stock feature of the season.  Starting third, he quickly passed Joe Allen for second as Scott Kehr, Russ Nuzzaro, and Don Carlson tangled, and the caution flag flew.  On lap two, Nuzzaro discovered a flat tire, bringing the second caution of the contest.  On the restart, Mike Garaguso spun in the first turn, causing the caution flag to fly for the third and final time, as Rob Rowe came from fifth to second to challenge pole-sitter Bobby Schade.

On the restart, Pascual passed Schade as Don Carlson, who started toward the back of the pack, gained fifth place, then fourth as he got by Bobby Waters, Jr. on lap five.  The field remained frozen for the rest of the race.  At the checkered, it was Pascual, Rowe, Schade, Carlson, and Waters, Jr.

In Victory Lane, Pascual commented, "I knew Rob (Rowe) was back there.  I saw the scoreboard, and I started peddling a little bit.  The tires started to go away towards the end, then I had to back off.  The track changed a lot between the heats and the feature.  Carlson got by me in the heat, so we made some adjustments on the car, and here we are!  I want to thank my pit crew for working so hard all week after we trashed the car last Saturday.  They did a fabulous job getting it back together."
